What the report tells you

A website report assembles the record a domain leaves behind in public sources. It reads the WHOIS registration to establish how old the domain is and who runs it, inspects the SSL certificate and hosting, fetches the homepage to analyse the wording, and cross-checks the domain against blocklists, review sites and social platforms. Every signal is scored, and the scores add up to one risk level from low to critical.

Why domain age matters most

The single strongest fraud signal is youth. Scam shops rarely survive a season, so they run on domains registered weeks earlier, behind privacy-protected WHOIS records and free certificates. A domain registered eleven days ago, hosted offshore, selling branded goods at a discount, is a different proposition from one trading for fifteen years. The report puts those facts side by side so the judgement is yours rather than the seller's.

When to run one

Before paying an unfamiliar webshop, when a marketplace listing links off-platform, when a supplier you have never met sends an invoice, or when a phishing message points at a lookalike domain. Fraud teams run them in bulk while triaging reports from customers.
